An optional exam is given at the end of each classroom course. The exam is mandatory for CISR OnLine. To earn the CISR designation, you must complete all five courses and pass the exams within three years. Then, to keep the designation, you must update each year with additional continuing education courses offered by The National Alliance. As a special bonus, designated CISRs earn the right to attend our exceptional William T. Hold Seminars.

CSRM for CISR

Important News: Now you can take one Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM) course in place of one CISR course to earn the CISR designation.  Two designations can now be earned by taking only nine courses -- and only ONE annual update is required for double CISR/CSRM designees.
