THE NATIONAL ALLIANCE'S PRIVACY POLICY

The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research (The National Alliance) is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information you provide to us. We maintain security procedures and standards that we believe are as safe as today's technology permits. This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect from participants, how we collect it, and what we do with it.

TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

The National Alliance does not sell, rent, or otherwise release your email address, telephone number, or postal address to any third party, nor do we use this information for any purpose other than that for which it was originally collected.

Email Addresses - The National Alliance collects email address information from you when you order a National Alliance product or service, register for a course, or enter your email address on our website, so that we may communicate with you if there is a problem with your order or registration, and alert you via email of other courses, products, and services that may be of interest to you. Any recipient of such email notices may Opt Out of receiving them at any time.

Telephone Numbers - The National Alliance requests your telephone number only so that we may communicate with you if there is a problem with your registration or order, or to alert you about upcoming programs in your area.

Postal Addresses - The National Alliance collects postal mailing address information from you so that we may fulfill the registration and orders you submit to us and to tell you about National Alliance courses, products, and services in which you may be interested.

The only circumstances under which we would provide customer information (i.e., name, address, telephone number, email address, etc.) to third parties would be:

  • Under legal subpoena, to verify billing information with the customer's financial institution, credit card fraud detection, or when a customer purchases service from an affiliated business that is accessible through TheNationalAlliance.com .
  • When required by law or valid legal process, or to protect the personal safety of our members or the public.

Credit Card Information - The National Alliance collects your credit card information when you pay by that method. We use the information only to obtain payment for National Alliance courses, products, and services you purchase.
