The Producer Leadership Council:
Helping New Producers to Succeed -- Faster!

CLICK HERE to fill out the
Quarterly Sponsor Survey

The Producer Leadership Council is an elite task force of agency managers who have sent at least one producer to The National Alliance School for Producer Development. Our mission statement:

To identify and share key elements that promote success for property and casualty producers and sales managers, resulting in greater retention of producers and increased production.

Council members participate in quarterly:

  • Teleconferences/webinars
  • Surveys of production results

During the teleconferences, participants can:

  • Share information on new producers.
  • Evaluate development of new producers.
  • Discuss post-school experiences and strategies.
  • Discover what works and what doesn't work.
  • Target problems before they lead to turnover.
  • Maximize the investment of hiring a new producer.
  • Learn about new producer goals and actual results.

The survey gathers answers to the following questions:

  • How much new business premium did the producer write this quarter?
  • Is the producer still selling in the original niche markets?
  • What are the most pressing concerns about the producer?
  • What areas of the producer's performance need improvement?
  • How do new producers' performance compare to other producers at this same stage in their careers?

Here is what the Producer Leadership Council members are saying:

  • "Activating the next generation of insurance producers is the premise for forming this council," Michael Trufant, G&M Marine, New Orleans, Louisiana.
  • "This is a terrific opportunity for principals and sales managers to share personal knowledge and experiences with new producers in order to maximize the investment of the Producer School," Anne Davis, CIC, Hotchkiss Insurance Agency, Carrollton, TX.

Teleconferences are conducted free of charge for participating sales managers and typically last about one hour.
