you attain the CISR designation and experience the career
fulfillment that comes along with it, you will want
to make sure your knowledge and expertise stay up to
date. A commitment to annual continuing education makes
that possible.
To
maintain the CISR designation, you are required to complete
one of the following skills-enriching courses every
year. (NOTE: no exams are required for classroom updates.
Online updates at CISR OnLine do require an exam.)
NEW OPTION: CSRM for CISR
Now you can take one Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM) course in place of one CISR course to earn the CISR designation. Two designations can now be earned by taking only nine courses -- and only ONE annual update is required for dual CISR/CSRM designees. Customize your education while you heighten your risk management knowledge!
To maintain your CISR designation, you are required to update with one of the following courses every year.
