Kenneth Baldwin

Bio Detail

Kenneth Baldwin is the Regional Vice President of Marine, at AXA XL Insurance. Ken began his insurance career in 1984 at the Atlantic Mutual Companies, moving to Travelers in 2004, where he held various positions utilizing his Marine Insurance expertise, until joining XL Group in 2012. Ken earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation Management in 1984 from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, where he obtained a 3rd Mates Unlimited Tonnage, All Oceans license. In addition, Ken holds AMIM and CPCU Designations. Mr. Baldwin has been a guest lecturer at the United States Merchant Marine Academy's Continuing Education Seminar on several occasions and is a highly respected teacher for the Certified Marine Insurance Professional (CMIP) designation seminar series, covering a multitude of Marine Insurance topics and sharing his life experiential knowledge in his presentation style.

Ian Greenway

Bio Detail

Ian Greenway is President and CEO of LIG Marine Managers, a Commercial Marine and international MGA & Lloyd's Broker with offices in Florida, London, Texas, Pennsylvania and California specializing in Longshore and commercial marine insurance. Ian was born in England and educated at London University in computer systems design and physics. He studied at the New York College of Insurance and is one of a handful of people holding insurance licenses in both England and America simultaneously. Ian has worked in and with the Lloyd's marketplace for over 30 years. He is a National Faculty Member for the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors and numerous other professional organizations. He also sponsors and presents numerous seminars on marine insurance as well as acting as a marine consultant, author, expert and congressional witness. Ian's extensive experience traveling between England and United States affords a unique understanding of the insurance business on both sides of the Atlantic.

Mark Greenway

Bio Detail

Mark Greenway has worked at LIG Marine Managers for 17 years and is their current Chief Underwriting Officer. He began his tenure in the LIG IT Department, developing its line of business applications. He then focused on Crew Protection & Indemnity claims and their management. Turning his attention to underwriting, Mark started writing MEL risks and expanded into "all special risks" that came to LIG for placement. He moved to London where he gained an understanding of the London Market and trained with Brokers and Underwriters in preparation for his current role with LIG. Mark now works transcontinental between LIG Florida Headquarters and its London, UK office, where he has built important strategic relationships for LIG underwriting and oversees the LIG Special Placement Center. Mark is a strong believer in process innovation within the industry and of learning from the lessons of other viewpoints. Mark often states that "you should let the experts, expert". With that, and the understanding of what technology can do for you, he has more time to foster the relationships so important in our industry.
