Bio Detail

LaToya is a Certified Financial Planner and the Chief Operating Officer at Phoenix Associates Insurance Agency with a focus on strategy and marketing. She has worked with Phoenix Associates, an independent insurance agency located in Marietta, GA, since 1997. She is responsible for finding financial solutions for individual clients and small business owners. She is a graduate of Georgia State University Executive MBA program and has been in the insurance and financial services industry for over 20 years. Her combined knowledge of insurance and her ability to solve complex problems with a deep commitment to support her clients in making decisions that have lifelong implications. Her long-term perspective strengthens financial health and fosters financial independence. She understands the value of looking at a person's entire life situation in order to find solutions to their financial issues. LaToya has the Life/Health and Property/Casualty insurance licenses, series 7 and 65 securities licenses, and holds the Certified Financial Planner designation. Currently, she is a Life/Health instructor at RS Thomas Training Associates and has taught insurance and retirement planning CFP courses at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is an active member of the Financial Planning Association of Georgia. Currently serving as the Director of Advocacy.

Stanley Tucker

Bio Detail

Cole Tucker is the President of Tucker-Franklin Insurance Group, Inc. in Mechanicsville, Virginia. He was an agent with Virginia Farm Bureau before opening Tucker-Franklin in 1998. He received his Life Underwriter Training Council Fellowship (LUTCF) designation in 1997, the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2002 and the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation in 2009. He has a degree in English Literature from George Mason University and a degree in Chemistry from the University of Richmond. He has moderated courses for the Life Underwriting Training Council and for the Richmond Association of Life Underwriters. Cole is an instructor for the National Alliance and teaches Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) classes in personal lines, life and health insurance and risk management. He is also a Life and Health CIC instructor. He is involved with the Professional Insurance Agents Association (PIA) of Virginia and DC in many capacities, currently as the chair of the Education Committee and a Board Member for PIA Insurance Services. He is a past president of the PIA of Virginia and DC. Cole was recognized in June of 2013 as the PIA Virginia Agent of the Year and in March of 2014 as the National PIA Agent of the Year. He was featured in the June 2014 issue of National Underwriter magazine.
