The William T. Hold Seminars are open and available to everyone and contain topics that are current and timely. They are taught by experienced faculty who are active in the insurance industry. This course will provide insurance professionals with practical information that can be put to use immediately. These advanced personal lines topics are combined from a wide range of varied topics into a one day course format.

Walter Sorgi

Bio Detail

Vince Sorgi began his insurance career in 1981 and was President of The Sorgi Insurance Agency, Inc., a Durham, North Carolina-based Independent Insurance Agency. In 2004, Vince joined the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina where he served as Vice President of Education and Curriculum until his retirement in 2014. Vince continues to teach as a contract instructor for IIANC. Vince has served as past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Durham and received the Agent of the Year Award from that organization in 1988. During Vince's tenure with IIANC, the Association was the recipient of numerous national awards for its education program, including the IIABA Excellence in Insurance Education Diamond Award in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Vince has been a CISR faculty member for The National Alliance since 2000 and teaches the core CISR courses as well as the William T. Hold Seminars. In addition, Vince is an approved instructor for the Swiss/Re Westport E&O Risk Management course.
