This course, like Commercial Casualty I, strengthens your ability to have productive, assured interactions with your commercial customers in the area of commercial casualty exposures and coverages. In this course the focus is the Business Auto Policy, the Workers Compensation Policy and Excess Liability Policies. You will improve your understanding in each of these areas.

Christine McLeod

Bio Detail

Chris McLeod brings over 45 years of hands on training in the insurance industry and is presently employed as an independent consultant and instructor in the insurance field. She began in the underwriting department of MOAC and later joined the agency ranks of the industry. She has run the gambit from personal lines CSR to Commercial Lines Sales and Service to Agency Management for a large national brokerage firm. Chris was the Vice President of Professional Development and Agency Management for the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina, a past President of the Smart Choice Agents Program where she was responsible for all sales and servicing roles within the company and facilitated agency development with partner agencies and carriers. Prior to retiring, she was a marketing representative for Jackson Sumner & Associates a regional excess and surplus lines broker. She has taught numerous courses including CISR, ARM and CPCU. She is past president of NCAIW and is a past "Insurance Professional of the Year". She was a "Boss of the Year" for Greensboro Insurance Women and 2002 Member of the Year for the Raleigh Association of Professionals, a NAIW Region II ACE Award winner, a past Golden Gavel Designee and has held various offices and chair positions for the IIANC and the North Carolina Association of Insurance Women. She was awarded the AAMGA Association Achievement Award and is a past recipient of the Ernest S. Young Education Award (the highest education honor bestowed by IIANC). She is a member of Piedmont Chapter of CPCU. She earned her CIC and CISR designations in 2001 and is a past member of the Board of Governors for CISR. She also served on the Commissioner of Insurances Property and Casualty Task Committee.
