Bio Detail

Jerry Duke is the Executive Vice President of the Professional Insurance Agents of Georgia, Inc., and serves as the Legislative Director and Treasurer of PROPAC. Both organizations are headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Jerry regularly speaks on behalf of both organizations to industry and civic groups throughout Georgia. He has been active in association management since 1970, and has served as Executive Director for four other nonprofit and national health agencies before joining PIA in 1994. Specializing in the recovery and turnaround of associations, Jerry has a track record of membership growth, financial stability, and expanded programs within each of the five associations. Jerry, working directly with the Insurance Commissioner of Georgia and industry leaders, has become a vocal and respected supporter of the independent agency delivery system. A key to his success is his organizational and planning skills, combined with staff development and hands-on experience in agency management, which gives him a unique perspective of how independent agencies operate.
