The primary focus of this course is to introduce and explain the methods that can be used to finance the district’s losses. Using general criteria, the risk manager compares and evaluates the various risk financing options and ultimately determines which is best for the school district.

Kevin Miller

Bio Detail

Kevin Miller is an Account Executive in the Milwaukee office of M3 Insurance, specializing in property and casualty. Kevin's main role is to help clients design, implement and manage their risk management programs. He has been an instructor with National Alliance since 2016. After receiving his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Carthage College in 1999, Kevin began his career in the insurance industry at Marsh. While developing his insurance industry knowledge and technical expertise, he earned his Master's degree in Business Administration at Marquette University in 2005. His career in the insurance industry has included several insurance brokers as well as a software company servicing the insurance brokerage industry. Kevin is a licensed agent for Property & Casualty and for Life & Health insurance in Wisconsin. He has also obtained the following designations: Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM), Associate in Risk Management- Public Entity (ARM-P), and Certificate School Safety Coordinator (CSSC).
