Last year was the worst year in claims the aviation insurance industry has ever seen. With the claims not coming under control and continuing to rise in terms of severity and fatalities in the last seven years, risk management can help to address this issue. Although an aviation policy may look like a commercial auto policy, it shouldn’t be treated like other insurance. It is a specialty line and the policies have warranties in them that are critical in terms of observing those or you void coverage.
Tune in to hear Paul Martin, Commercial Academic Director for The National Alliance, interview Lisa Peterson, expert in aviation and aircraft insurance at Summit Sky, about this unique niche market, recent fatalities, and the good work agents can do when it comes to all things aerospace.

My first podcast and gave me a better feel why the rates have increased substantially. Also make sure your broker is well versed in aviation and the coverages are correct. Thank you-
Paul, enjoyed the podcast and information!
