National Program Schedule Update

COVID-19

Updated: 6/12/2020

To keep our community safe and healthy, we are continuing to postpone classroom courses.

In response to the COVID-19 virus, we reduced the availability of in-person, classroom programs. You may still continue earning professional development with our distance-learning options.

My in-person course was cancelled. What are my options?
Our online instructor-led and online self-paced courses are still available! In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we encourage you to register for these engaging distance-learning options as an alternative to our popular classroom programs.
I have a test coming up. What do I do?

Exams are available from your learning portal.

What’s the difference between a self-paced and an instructor-led online course?

An instructor-led course is held like a “virtual classroom.” You will be asked to log in at specific times on specific dates and respond to attendance polls in order to receive credit. The course is facilitated live by a National Alliance faculty member.

A self-paced course presents information as a series of modules you complete within 60 days of registering. The material is interspersed with periodic quizzes and knowledge checks. A proctored final is available once you have successfully completed all quizzes. This course is not facilitated by a live instructor.

To keep our community safe and healthy, all classroom programs scheduled before June 1st have been postponed.

The Covid-19 pandemic is changing how the world operates. We’re being asked to adapt to remote work, grocery shopping is different, and we’re seeing our industry’s resilience clearer than ever. As with crises like sever weather events, or simple everyday disruptions like car accidents, the insurance industry consistently takes a leadership role in our country and communities. We’ve always responded with innovation and integrity and in our current crisis, when our clients and colleagues need us the most, we’re staying stronger and more united than ever.

Message from the
The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research

In the uncertain and rapidly changing environment that we are now living and working in we want to assure you that we are taking actions that will hopefully bring some certainty to your professional education planning and activities.

As the  COVID-19 virus situation  continues to rapidly evolve we have determined that it is now necessary to reduce the schedule of The National Alliance classroom programs.  With the advent of the Declaration of National Emergency and related governmental and business rescheduling, we have determined the following:

To keep our community safe and healthy, all classroom programs scheduled before May 1st have been postponed. As an important reminder, a complete schedule of these programs is currently offered online

I take great pride in the fact that for more than 50 years we have successfully conducted our programs in the face of natural and man-made crisis with the single focus on your well being and a beneficial educational experience. Working together I know we can maintain this heritage and tradition.
